Our Courses
Although I’m best known for my civil engineering geotechnical courses, I’ve also taught Mechanical Engineering Courses as well, including the award-winning virtual Fluid Mechanics Laboratory.

Fluid Mechanics
A more practical course for this topic, developed in part from the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory course to the right. Includes useful information on the topic and links to the laboratory experiments.

Fluid Mechanics Laboratory
A practical course to accompany a traditionally abstract one: Fluid Mechanics. With live experiments and a great deal of material on how to analyse the results.

Statics
In many ways the foundational course of the engineering curriculum. The object of statics is the analysis of things that go nowhere, and many times in engineering that’s exactly what we want.

Dynamics
The civil engineers notwithstanding, there comes a time when things move. Dynamics is the branch of mechanics which analyse things which move, and that includes civil engineering applications.
