The 1920’s and 1930’s are best remembered for their airshows and competitions.  If there’s one place where Chet’s contribution to aviation was the most enduring, it was in his organisation and promotion of airshows in the Washington, DC area.  We’ll take a look at the following:

• 1932 Washington Air Derby, and 1932 National Air Race
• 1933 and 1934 Langley Day
• Women in Aviation
